WINNER – CASH CROP Wins Changemaker Award At Maui FF
The 2009 Annual Maui Film Festival at Wailea held from June 17-21, 2009 announced its Festival winners. Approximately 20,000 people attended this years Maui Film Festival at Wailea and voted on their favorite films. The scenic views of Maui served as a backdrop to some of the best American independent films and world cinema. We're excited that Cash Crop, produced by Noah Workman, has won the Changemaker Documentary award.
Iris MediaWorks begins Pre-Production for ILEGALES
We are gearing up for our next feature, titled "Ilegales", scheduled to shoot in New Mexico in Mid-to-Late July. Currently wrapping up casting, scouting our locations, and assembling our crew.
Iris MediaWorks produces several projects for M·A·C Cosmetics
Noah and Patrick have been hard at work creating some really cool pieces for M·A·C Cosmetics. We've interviewed Marilyn Minter,Whitecube- Richard Phillips, Maira Kalman for one project, and recorded Emmy Award winning makeup artist Marie Del Prete teaching a class on makeup in the world of HD photography for M·A·CPro.com. Additionally, we've used mirrors, glitter, and turntables to capture some pretty fantastic product shots. We're looking forward to sharing them with you!
WINNER – SEA OF DUST takes home Best Picture at RIIHFF
Produced by Patrick T. Rousseau and Noah Workman Sea of Dust won the Best Feature award at the Rhode Island International Horror Film Festival. Starring Tom Savini (Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead, From Dusk Til Dawn) and Ingrid Pitt (The Vampire Lovers, The Wicker Man, Where Eagles Dare).
WINNER – THE CAPTIVE wins Best Web Pilot at the NYTVF
New media project The CAPTIVE (then titled THE PRISONER) produced by Patrick T. Rousseau and Noah Workman wins Best Web Series Pilot at the New York Television Festival. THE CAPTIVE follows a young American who is spirited away to the depths of a secret underground prison, chronicling his struggle to escape with the help of a seductive but enigmatic Trustee.
JORDAN Completes Principle Photography
Jordan is the story of a five-year-old girl who has to find help for her injured mother following a car crash on a remote mountain highway. Small-town Sheriff Gil Lujan wants to believe the tiny girl who stumbles into his office, exhausted and disheveled, after walking all night through the forest. But, when a woman appears claiming to be Jordans mother, Jordan doesnt recognize her. Instead, she insists her real mother is still waiting out in the woods. What follows is a nail-biting thriller about the bond between mother and child and how far each one is willing to go
Cash Crop Completes Principle Photography
Shooting all over California, from Mendocino to San Diego, Noah Workman has finished principle photography as one of the producers for Sierra Films CASH CROP directed by Adam Ross.
